Bridgestone Professorship in International Business
Dr. Michael Hu, brings more than 20 years of excellence in teaching (1994 recipient of KSU's Distinguished Teaching Award) and outstanding academic scholarship with more than 100 published articles to this position.
Dr. Hu earned his Ph.D. in management science/marketing from the University of Minnesota. He combines his academic background in applied statistics with his industry experience in the telecommunications industry, resulting in research interests in marketing research, international business, neural networks and applied statistics. His research has been published in many domestic and international journals, including the Journal of Multinational Finance, Journal of Business Forecasting, Journal of Business Research, and Journal of International Business Studies. He is best known for his work on frequent flyer programs and on Sino-foreign joint ventures.
