Why KSU?

As a University, Kent State has been recognized as a "Doctoral - Research Extensive" University by the Carnegie Foundation. About 150 of the 3,941 colleges and universities in the Carnegie classification are in the category. Of the more than 1500 schools of business in the United States, Kent State is one of 90 schools that grant the Ph.D. degree. The College of Business and Graduate School of Management are one of the 15% of business schools that are accredited by AACSB, the International accrediting organization for business schools. The Graduate School of Management has a long tradition of providing the executive education to the corporations in Northeast Ohio. We were one of the first schools in the country to grant the Executive MBA degree and are currently entering our 30th year offering this opportunity. We now have an alumni network of over 1000 EMBA graduates. The program is offered annually at the conveniently located campus in Kent, Ohio and has periodically been offered at other locations including our Regional Campuses in Northeast Ohio.As a state university, we are able to provide an executive education program to Northeast Ohio businesses at a tremendous value.
