The Executive education program (EMBA) at Kent State is designed to be a highly personalized, adult oriented, and interactive classroom and online experience designed to prepare students for managerial positions of significant responsibility. This MBA degree program is an academically enriching, comprehensive and challenging professional education that has produced nearly 1,000 gradutes since the program's induction in 1978. Among the many factors that influenced these students to enroll in the EMBA program are:

The Executive MBA curriculum is designed in a modular format with two courses being offered concurrently over each eight-week period. This "focused approach" enhances the learning process by concentration on only two subject areas at any given time.
While the instructional method is determined by the nature of the course and the orientation of the faculty, the nature and composition of the Executive MBA class lends a unique element to the education process. Since the class is composed of practicing professionals, their individual and collective experience creates an interactive and applied learning environment. Furthermore, a spirit of camaraderie that is difficult to duplicate in other professional education programs develops as the class moves together from the first day of the Residency through graduation.
