Total for Graduation
*MATH 11010 (Algebra for Calculus) and MATH 11022 (Trigonometry) are prerequisites which the student with sufficient background should bypass. MATH 11010 and 11022 may be waived by obtaining permission from the Department of Mathematical Sciences or by passing the placement exam.

**Most Elementary I and II languages (American Sign Language, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Italian, Latin, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish) require 4 credit hours each and Intermediate I and II for these languages are 3 credit hours each. However, Elementary I and II and Intermediate I and II for Arabic, Chinese, and Japanese require 5 credit hours each. Choosing these languages will increase the Foreign Language requirements and reduce the available number of General Electives.

***Two Diversity courses are required. One must be selected from the LER program in either the Humanities & Fine Arts or Social Sciences. If both diversity courses can be applied toward the LER requirements, then 12 hours of general electives may be selected. One of the diversity courses must address domestic issues, while the other must address global issues.

****REQUIRED: One credit hour of lab.
