The Map Library staff is available to help patrons locate and use maps, atlases, microfiche, microfilm and CD-ROMs in the collection. The staff can also assist in obtaining materials online.
Printer: The Map Library has a color/ black and white printer that can be used to print maps and documents. Print outs can be paid for with a Flashcard. Cost is 14 cents per page.
Photocopier: Black and white copies of materials can be made with the self-service photocopy machine in the Map Library. Copies can be paid for with a Flashcard or with change.
The Map Library has large worktables that are available for viewing maps and atlases. There is a light table that can be used for drafting or tracing maps.
The Map Library also offers a GIS workstation, on which ArcView and ArcGIS software is available as well as Web access for downloading GIS maps and data. The GIS workstation also offers a CD-RW drive to allow users to save their work or any downloaded resources.
