International Index to Black Periodicals
Content of this resource is from more than 150 international scholarly and popular periodicals in Black Studies and contains full-text coverage of 40 core Black Studies periodicals. This database is interdisciplinary and includes art, cultural criticism, economics, education, health, history, language and literature, law, philosophy, politics, religion, and sociology.
Academic Search Complete
Provides full text for more than 4,000 scholarly publications covering academic areas of study including social sciences, humanities, education, computer sciences, engineering, language and linguistics, arts & literature, medical sciences, and ethnic studies. This database is updated daily.

Provides a complete bibliographic reference to the history of the United States and Canada from prehistory to the present.
Anthropology Plus
Anthropology Plus combines the Anthropological Literature (from Harvard University) with the Anthropological Index (from the Royal Anthropological Institute). Gives extensive worldwide indexing of journal articles, reports, commentaries, edited works, and obituaries in the fields of social, cultural, physical, biological, and linguistic anthropology, ethnology, archaeology, folklore, material culture, and interdisciplinary studies. Coverage is from the late 19th century to the present.
Historical Abstracts (1967 - Current)
Contains references about the history of the world from 1450 to the present (excluding the United States and Canada, which are covered in America: History and Life).
JSTOR
Offers full-text of back-runs of core journals in African American Studies, including African American Review and Callaloo. Coverage starts with the first issue of most titles and usually goes until 3-5 years of the present.
PsycINFO - Current File (1967 - Current)
Use this resource to locate journal articles dealing with social psychology and to focus research on psychological topics to an African American population.
Social Sciences Citation Index (1980 - Current)
Once you find a good article, you can use this resource to discover other articles that have cited the one you located. Not the best tool for topic searching.

When looking for books by topic, start with a KEYWORD search. This allows you to search in multiple fields in the record and for multiple terms in one search. OhioLINK Library Catalog
The OhioLINK Library Catalog is the database of all books and other materials owned by the 85 public and private colleges and universities that are OhioLINK member libraries. For any item not available at KSU, it is possible to request the item online and have it sent to any KSU library or another OhioLINK institution for pick up.

Produced by the American Council of Learned Societies, the Humanities E-book is a digital collection of over 1500 full-text titles, including most humanities disciplines and area studies. Oxford Reference Online
Contains entries from over 100 major discipline-related dictionaries and other publications from Oxford University Press. Coverage includes the sciences, foreign languages, art and architecture, politics, business, literature and more.

Contains the full text of important scholarly books from Oxford University Press. Coverage includes both classic and newly-published works in the humanities and social sciences. Subject collections are available in Economics & Finance, Philosophy, Political Science, and Religion. New books are added regularly.
