Kent State Stark's first-year scholarships are awarded on the basis of high school academic performance. These partial and full-tuition scholarships do not require repayment and are often renewable for one additional year if academic expectations are met. You must attend Kent State Stark to be eligible to receive any first-year scholarship.

The scholarships linked below are available to new first-year students (2009 high school graduates) who will attend Kent State Stark for the 2009-2010 academic year. These scholarships are for the Fall 2009 and Spring 2010 semesters only. They are not available for Summer 2009 or Summer 2010.

You will be considered for a scholarship if you have been admitted to Kent State University and your complete scholarship application materials have been received. Scholarship applications are considered together in a competitive awarding process by members of the Kent State Stark Scholarship Selection Committee.

The 2009-2010 First-Year Scholarship Application deadline is March 2, 2009. All application materials must be postmarked by March 2, 2009. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered. Applicants will be notified of their scholarship eligibility at the end of March.
