Printing Your Digital Files
We have two large format (36" wide) color inkjet printers to print your digital files on bond, glossy, vinyl, or other special media. Submit your files to be printed either through email or on cd or disk. *Please note: we do not have Microsoft Publisher. If you have a Publisher file that you would like for us to print, please save/export your Publisher file as a jpg, tiff, or pdf file.
Dry mounting is also available. Want a more professional look for your drymounted posters? We now offer plastic edging! Contact a staff member for details.
Allow a minimum of 48 hours for printing. Multiple prints may take longer. (If rush printing is possible, an additional fee will be charged.)
Printing from Powerpoint:
- Important! Set custom page size not to exceed 34 x 54" with 1" margins on all sides to assure that nothing is not cut off. (See sample below.)
- Use copy and paste; do not import or link your data from other applications.
- Use standard, cross-platform fonts.
- You must provide us with an 8.5 x 11" proof of what your layout should look like. We need it to check the file when we open it, as well as when we print the poster. If you do not bring in a proof, we will print one while you're here for an additional fee.
- Optional: converting your Powerpoint file to pdf ensures accurate printing.
Design - PowerPoint mock-up
Printing from Photoshop:
- Resolution should be 200 - 300 dpi.
- Maximum file size cannot exceed 100 MB.
- Print size maximum is 36 x 120". We can enlarge your digital files proportionally to any size within 36 x 120" (e.g., a 4 x 6" layout enlarges proportionally to 24 x 36" and fits within the size limit).
- Save files as pdf, jpg, or tif files.
