The Kent State University Alumni Association welcomes you to a growing family of graduates. The Alumni Association is a voluntary organization of people whose lives have been enriched or affected positively by Kent State University, who take pride in the university's accomplishments, and who wish to maintain a close contact with their alma mater.
The Alumni Association exists to serve the university and its members through communications and service programs. Alumni chapters across the nation promote social interaction and networking opportunities. Academic-based alumni councils encourage professional development and a strengthening of ties with colleges, schools and departments.
As a new graduate, you are eligible for a substantial discount on your Kent State University Alumni Association membership dues. Your first year's cost is just $15 for a one-year single membership or $20 for a couple's membership (regularly $35 and $50). This membership includes four issues of the Kent State Magazine (the publication that keeps you current on campus developments, alumni programs and the activities of your classmates), plus an annual alumni tabloid. You will also be eligible for discounts on Kent State and alumni merchandise, career-assistance services, low-cost group insurance, cellular telephone service, Kent State University library privileges, personal campus representation, discounts at the university golf course and ice arena, and more. Soon you will receive a mailing containing complete information about membership in your Alumni Association.
To ensure that you receive this and other information from the university, PLEASE notify us whenever you have a change of address, marital status or job status. This will help us to serve you better. It will also permit your friends to stay in touch with you. Officers and staff of the Kent State University Alumni Association are ready to assist you in every way possible.
